Abstract

1,249,997. Roofing panels or sheets. BROWNBUILT Ltd. 26 Sept, 1968, No. 45664/68. Headings E1B and E1W. A roofing panel 5 of metal or synthetic' resin sheet is of generally channel cross section and has integral structures acting as transverse beams 9 which over a major portion of their length taper in depth and width from a central region. The beams may be in the form of indentations which may be diamond or elliptical shape in plan. In cross-section longitudinally of the member the indentations may each at its upper part terminate in a ridge, or in a flat portion or may define a smooth, e.g. parabolic curve. In cross section transversely of the member the indentations may be upwardly, e.g. elliptically, convex. Adjacent panels may interengage along edge flange formations 6, 7. (For Figure see next page)
