Abstract

1,249,942. Fuel injection pumps. WERKSPOOR-AMSTERDAM N.V. Sept.19, 1969 [Oct.4, 1968], No.46322/69. Heading F1A. During the injection stroke of a fuel injection pump, the plunger sequentially undergoes acceleration beyond the deceleration to a predetermined constant speed. The plunger, which may be driven by a cam, has a constant stroke length and the delivery quantity is regulated by varying the termination of injection.
