Abstract

1,249,090. Attachments. ATLAS COPCO A.B. 16 Sept., 1970 [26 Sept., 1969], No. 44165/70. Heading B3N. [Also in Division F2] The shank portion 16 of a wrench 15 is secured in a socket 17 by a spring retainer formed with a ring portion (23) engageable in a circular groove 30 in the shank end and formed with bent-up arms 21 passing through a hole 26 and urging a detent pin 19, mounted in a transverse recess 20 in the shank, radially outwards into a hole 22 in the socket wall. Alternatively the pin 19 may be omitted, the spring arms 21 being bent to enter the end of opening 22.
