Abstract

1,237,994. Valves. AMMUS-SYTYTIN OY. 11 Feb., 1970 [12 Feb., 1969]. No. 6660/70. Heading F2V. A valve comprises a valve body 1, a stem 2 rotatably mounted in the body to operate a valve element (not shown), a cup-shaped handle 3 fitted to the stem 2 and provided with a plurality of holes extending axially through an end portion 5 which is perpendicular to the stem 2, a peg 10 insertable into any one of the holes, and a stop 14 provided to limit the extent of angular movement of the peg 10. The stop may be provided directly on the valve body (Fig. 1, not shown) or it may be provided on a holder 15, in which construction the pin 14 is able to be located in any one of a series of holes 16.
