Atmospheric gas burners. - In an atmospheric gas burner of the type in which the cross-sectional area of the mixing-tube B increases towards the outlet, the internal air supply is regulated by cylindrical or partly cylindrical rotatable valves D having a longitudinal slot or slots C, and arranged so that the surfaces of the valves form part of the passage in the burner. The mixing-tube B may be of rectangular cross-section.
