Abstract
17,154. Archer, D. J. Aug. 2. Gas burners.-To obtain a mixture of sufficient air with the gas to ensure complete combustion, the gas supplied by the pipe A, and issuing through the projecting nozzle a, draws air through the apertures b into the mixing-chamber B. This mixture of air and gas issuing from the tube D then draws in a further supply of air through the openings d in the chamber C. The supply of air through the openings b may be controlled by a hit-and-miss valve G.
