A self-winding watch comprises an oscillating weight 5 mounted for oscillation on a bearing, a rotatable race 4 of which has gear-teeth meshing with a rotary gear-wheel 6 having an integral eccentric axle 7 for actuating a bifurcated pawl lever 8 driving a ratchet wheel 11 forming part of the mainspring winding gear train.
