1,234,886. Suspension filing systems. VELOX-WERK HERBERT SCHNELLE. 4 July, 1969 [6 July, 1968], No. 33914/69. Heading B6E. A plastics suspension rail 1, Fig. 2, for a filing folder whose upper edge 2 is supported by the rail is provided at its rear face with a longitudinally extending recess 6, Fig. 4, defined by a front well 3, upper wall 4 and side walls 7, 8, the recess being filled with spaced and staggered projections 21 to 23 and 13 to 15 to retain a plastics clamping bar 24 which clamps the upper edge 2 of the suspension folder following engagement of apertures (not shown) in the edge 2 with the projections 13 to 15. The upper edge 2 may be clamped additionally between a recess 31 and a bead 30 in the rail and clamping bar, respectively. The clamping bar is snapped into a locked position in association with heads 20 on the projections 13 to 15, the heads defining a rebated recess 19 serving for location of the upper edges of apertures 26, 27 ... in the locking bar 24.
