Abstract

1,025,166. Clamps. USTAV PRE ROZVOJ STROJANESKEHO SPOTREBNEHO TOVARU. July 1, 1964 [Sept. 16, 1963], No. 27136/64. Heading E2B. [Also in Division H2] A clamp for suspending a cable comprises a strip of plastics material having a narrow intermediate portion 5 and at each end a widened portion 1, 2 formed with a recess 3, 4 in one face thereof such that when the intermediate port is bent into a substantial U-shaped formation the recesses co-operate to provide an aperture and means 6, 7 on both sides of the aperture for holding the surfaces of the recesses in gripping engagement with the cable. As shown the means 6, 7 are screws made of plastics material which engage holes adjacent both ends of the recesses but in a modification split pins can be substituted for the screws.
