Abstract
1,234,130. Master cylinders. GIRLING Ltd. 26 March, 1970 [1 April, 1969], No. 16890/69. Heading F2F. In a tandem master cylinder providing two hydraulically separate outputs and having a stepped bore, a pedal-operated main piston 11 in the larger bore and a floating piston 12 in the smaller bore, the pistons are coupled by a stem 15 forming an extension of piston 12 and movable axially, to an extent limited by a bush 20, in an axial recess 17 in the main piston, springs 22, 23 resisting relative movement.
