Abstract

123,337. Croft, C. M., and Carr, H. O. June 2, 1917 Ammonium sulphate.-An ammonia still and saturator are arranged upon a self-propelled vehicle for dealing with the ammoniacal liquor of a number of small gas-works. The liquor is heated in a heater b by means of the waste gases from the saturator l, and is then passed to a still d by a pipe c. A pump f draws lime liquor from a tank g. The still is heated by steam entering by a pipe c, and spent liquid is withdrawn from the still by a valve n. Specifications 2153/69 and 921/82 are referred to.
