Abstract

123,129. Houston, P. T. Jan. 12, 1918. Two-stroke-cycle engines.-A piston is oscillated by the mechanism described in Specification 126,724 and is mounted upon an annular pump piston which reciprocates but does not oscillate. In the construction shown in Fig. 1, the axes of the working piston B and the pump piston C are out of line, the gudgeon D being mounted in the pump piston upon which the working piston B turns. A nut I secures the piston B in position. Modified means are described for securing the pistons together.
