Abstract

Wall units 10 or 11 comprise panel sections 17 18 clamped between two reinforced beams 15, 16 by reinforcing rods 19, 20, 21, 22 anchored by means of stop washers 23 and 24, the upper ends of the rods 21, 22 projecting beyond the upper edge of the panel and engaging a screw threaded sleeve 30. The projection 29 is used for gripping by a tool during erection and also supports an anchoring iron 27 which is bolted to the floor 13. The space between the panels is sealed by a foam plastics strip 31 with sealed pores and an elastic joint strip 32, and filled with concrete 33. In a second embodiment the sleeve 30 is replaced by an adjustable screw nut which via a plane washer acts on a fixed sleeve welded to the stop washer 23.
