Abstract

1,226,059. Test-dyeing apparatus. FUKUI SEIREN KAKO K.K. 16 July, 1969 [20 July, 1968], No. 35883/69. Heading D1L. Textiles are test-dyed in apparatus comprising at least one pair of driving rolls 6 rotatably supported in a horizontal plane and spaced apart in a parallel relationship, at least one hollow drum 14 adapted to be put on a pair of adjacent rollers and held in tangential contact therewith by gravitational force so as to be driven thereby, and at least one closed tubular dyeing tank 15 for containing dyeing solution and textile, each tubular tank being adjustably supported in the drum whereby the tank may be set at a desired angle to the drum, the tank being removable from the drum. The pairs of rolls may have annular guide ribs 5 located along their length whereby several drums may be, placed on the pair. The whole apparatus may be enclosed in a tank 2 to which a heating medium, e.g. steam or a heated liquid 3, may be supplied.
