Abstract

1,223,825. Light fitting. ALLOM HEFFER & CO. Ltd. 22 Aug., 1969, No. 42057/69. Heading F4R. A channel-shaped backing plate 16 is secured to a ceiling 11 and has a bracket 17 welded thereto. The gear tray 14 is secured to the bracket 17 at 18 and has apertures 21 to receive clips 40 and flanges 22 to engage the shoulders 30 of the bracket. The clips 40 support a plastics diffuser 35 which may optionally be sealed at its upper lip 37 with a foam plastic sealing strip 55. An end cap 50 is provided on the diffuser 35 and the clips 40 resiliently urge the diffuser against the end cap and the sides of the backing plate.
