Definitions
- the present invention relates to a retaining spring for a luminaire housing, in particular for latching a luminaire cover on / in the luminaire housing, as well as a trough-shaped luminaire housing for receiving the retaining spring according to the invention, and finally a luminaire with a combination of the trough-shaped luminaire housing according to the invention and a retaining spring according to the invention received therein and optionally also a lamp cover held by means of the retaining spring as well as lighting means which can be accommodated in the space delimited by the lamp cover and the trough-shaped lamp housing.
- the present invention therefore relates to a retaining spring for a lamp housing.
- This has a holding leg for locking reception in a lamp housing.
- the retaining spring has a latching leg with a latching section for latching reception of a component (such as a light cover, for example in the form of a translucent (e.g. transparent) cover or an optical plate, such as a diffuser disk) with a latching section corresponding to the latching section.
- the holding leg has a first clamping leg which is connected to the locking leg via a connecting leg, preferably essentially in a U-shape.
- the retaining leg and the first clamping leg protrude substantially in the same direction from the connecting leg or extend on one side of a plane having or tangential to the connecting leg, wherein the design of the connecting leg can be designed here as desired.
- the retaining leg merges into a second clamping leg, which protrudes on the side of the first clamping leg remote from the locking leg with a distal end up to a height of the connecting leg.
- the first and second clamping legs are movable between a spaced-apart rest position and an adjacent clamping position.
- the retaining spring furthermore has a sealing support section which extends at least in the rest position between the distal end and the connecting leg; this is preferably closed over an area and particularly preferably essentially over an area.
- an element which can be easily latched and has a simultaneously defined, secure sealing surface is provided so that it can also be used accordingly in housings with a defined protection class.
- the alignment of the respective legs makes it possible, on the one hand, to provide a latching function on the sides or within a lamp housing, while at the same time the latching function, for example to accommodate a lamp cover, does not stand in the way of a possible sealing function, since the corresponding two legs here preferably face the same direction or side protrude.
- a retaining spring is thus provided which can be easily snapped into a luminaire housing without additional screw connections, while at the same time a corresponding, even higher protection class (for example IP 50 and higher) can be achieved.
- the sealing support section can be designed in one piece and extend from the connecting leg to and preferably up to the second clamping leg or from the second clamping leg to and preferably up to the connecting leg. In this way, a plane or closed surface can be provided as a sealing support section, so that a secure and preferably closed sealing support surface is provided.
- the sealing support section can also be formed from several subsections, which then extend, for example, from the connecting limb and / or the second clamping limb to and preferably to the other of Connecting legs or second clamping legs extend towards.
- the subsections can be arranged in one another or nested with one another, at least in the clamping position, in order to form an essentially closed sealing support surface.
- the sealing support section can thus be distributed over several areas, which is particularly advantageous in terms of production if, for example, the retaining spring is / is produced as a stamped and bent part. Due to the nested arrangement, an essentially closed sealing support surface can also be formed, so that a particularly good sealing function is provided.
- the sealing support section can extend flat in one plane, at least in the clamping position, preferably essentially transversely to an extension direction of the holding leg. In this way, a flat and flat sealing contact surface can be provided, so that a particularly secure seal can also be achieved by means of this retaining spring, as will also be described below.
- the first clamping leg can have a first latching structure, which preferably protrudes from the side facing away from the second clamping leg and towards the connecting leg.
- the second clamping leg can also have a second latching structure, which preferably protrudes from the side facing away from the first clamping leg and towards the distal end.
- latching structures can be provided at the same time in order to form the retaining leg in a simple manner for latching reception, for example in a lamp housing.
- a support section of the holding leg can preferably extend as an extension of the second clamping leg. In this way, in the installed latching position of the retaining spring, the retaining leg can be securely supported on a component that latches on the retaining spring.
- the latching section can be formed by an angular section in the latching leg. In this way it is possible to provide a corresponding latching section in the retaining spring by means of a simple bending process or stamping-bending process. This can be achieved, for example, by simply angling two subsections of the latching section (hereinafter also referred to as distal end section and proximal end section).
- An end portion of the locking leg which is distal with respect to the connecting leg is preferably angled with respect to a proximal end portion of the locking leg, the two end portions preferably being connected by the angled portion.
- the angle section can have a simple angle or a complex angled connection structure, provided that the corresponding locking function of the locking leg is given.
- the distal end section can extend from the proximal end section, preferably from the angle section, towards the holding leg.
- the latching leg is provided arched away from the holding leg, and thus forms a corresponding undercut for the latching reception of a component, such as a lamp housing.
- the retaining spring can be formed as a stamped and bent part and in particular as a one-piece stamped and bent part.
- the retaining spring can be provided in a simple manner by means of a well-known manufacturing method (for example stamping and bending process).
- the present invention also relates to a trough-shaped lamp housing.
- This has a floor area and a circumferential wall extending from the floor area, which jointly delimit a receiving space.
- the wall preferably delimiting a light emission opening on its side facing away from the floor area, into which a light cover can be inserted, as will be described below.
- the wall has a circumferential step which extends outward from the receiving space and is directed away from the floor area.
- the step has a receiving opening for the latching reception of the retaining leg of a retaining spring according to the present invention, so that the sealing support section is essentially flush with the step.
- a trough-shaped luminaire housing which is prepared in a simple manner to provide a luminaire according to the present invention.
- a trough-shaped lamp housing can then be equipped with a retaining spring according to the invention, as is described below.
- the present invention thus also relates to a lamp with the trough-shaped lamp housing according to the invention and the retaining spring according to the invention, the retaining spring being received with the retaining leg latching in the receiving opening such that the sealing support section runs essentially flush with the step and the locking leg protrudes into the receiving space .
- the latching leg preferably protrudes into the receiving space with respect to the step towards the floor area.
- the latching leg is provided in an area that does not collide with a seal of the lamp provided / to be provided on the step of the lamp housing and is therefore provided at a location that is usual for corresponding lamps, but without using additional fasteners, such as screws, since the Stage of the trough-shaped lamp housing is also used to accommodate the retaining spring.
- the step can have a preferably circumferentially closed seal which extends in a closed manner (ie at least in the direction of extent or circumferential direction of the seal or the step) over the sealing support section.
- This seal can be a separately manageable sealing element, such as a sealing ring or a sealing strip.
- this seal is a sealing element to be applied, such as, for example, a sealing foam.
- a support area of the retaining leg can be in abutment with an abutment area of the lamp housing in order to support the retaining spring with respect to the lamp housing.
- the support area can preferably include the support section and / or the first clamping leg and / or the second clamping leg. In this way, the retaining spring can be securely supported in the installed state in order to thus offer a stable latching receptacle for a component to be latched by means of the latching leg.
- the lamp can also have a component, such as a lamp cover, which is held releasably on the lamp housing by means of the locking leg, preferably in such a way that it is in circumferential sealing contact with the seal with a circumferential sealing section. If no seal is provided or necessary, the lamp cover can also be held on the lamp housing by means of the retaining spring without an additional seal.
- a component such as a lamp cover
- the luminaire can have other luminaire components, such as light sources (e.g. LEDs or LED modules with LEDs), corresponding operating devices or drivers, optics and the like.
- light sources e.g. LEDs or LED modules with LEDs
- corresponding operating devices or drivers e.g. LEDs or LED modules with LEDs
- Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a retaining spring 10 for a lamp housing 1 according to the present invention.
- the retaining spring 10 can be made, for example, from a spring steel.
- the retaining spring 10 is preferably formed or manufactured as a one-piece stamped and bent part.
- the retaining spring 10 has a retaining leg 20 for latching reception in a lamp housing 1. Furthermore, the retaining spring has a latching leg 30 with a latching section 31 for the latching reception of a component 2 with a latching section 5 corresponding to the latching section 31.
- the retaining leg 20 in turn has a first clamping leg 21 which is connected to the latching leg 30 via a connecting leg 40 essentially connected in a U shape.
- the holding leg 20 merges at an end 210 of the first clamping leg 21 facing away from the connecting leg 40 into a second clamping leg 22, which, on the side 211 of the first clamping leg 21 facing away from the locking leg 30, protrudes with a distal end 220 up to a height of the connecting leg 40.
- the first clamping leg 21 merges into the second clamping leg 22 in such a way that the latter is guided back again and is essentially flush with the connecting leg 40 at a height.
- the first and second clamping legs 21, 22 are between a spaced apart rest position, as in FIG Figure 1 shown, and an adjacent clamping position, such as in Figure 3 and 5 shown movable.
- the retaining spring 10 also has a sealing support section 50, which extends at least in the rest position between the distal end 220 of the second clamping leg 22 and the connecting leg 40.
- a sealing support surface D which is as uniform as possible can thus be provided by the sealing support section 50.
- the sealing support section 50 can, for example, be designed in one piece and extend from the connecting leg 40 to and preferably up to the second clamping leg 22 (or its distal end 220) or from the second clamping leg 22 (or its distal end 220) to and preferably extend up to the connecting leg 40. In this way, a coherent and thus flexible sealing surface of the sealing support section 50 can be provided.
- the sealing support section 50 is formed from a plurality of subsections 51 to 53, which extend from the connecting leg 40 (here the subsection 52) and / or the second clamping leg 22 or its distal end 220 (here the subsections 51 and 53) extend.
- the described subsections 51 to 53 can at least in the here in Figures 2 and 3 clamping position shown nested or nested in one another to form a substantially closed sealing support surface D.
- Such a sealing support section 50 is therefore particularly well suited for receiving and securely providing a seal 9.
- the sealing support section 50 extends flat in a plane, preferably essentially transversely to a direction of extension of the retaining leg 20, such as the one for example Figures 2, 3 , and 5 can be found. Due to this flat, two-dimensional extension of the sealing support section 50, a particularly flexible sealing support surface D can be provided for receiving a seal, although the retaining spring 10 itself has the legs 20, 30 which are movable to produce the latching function.
- the first clamping leg 21 can have a first latching structure 23, which preferably protrudes from the side 212 facing away from the second clamping leg 22 and toward the connecting leg 40.
- the second clamping leg 22 can have a second latching structure 24 in a comparable manner, which preferably protrudes from the side 222 facing away from the first clamping leg 21 and towards the distal end 220.
- the latching structures 23, 24 protruding from the respective clamping legs 21, 22 thus serve as the Figure 5 it can be seen as a latching projection for latching reception and securing of the retaining leg 20 here in a luminaire housing 1.
- a support section 25 of the holding leg 20 can extend, preferably as an extension of the second clamping leg 22, as in FIG Figure 1 can be found.
- this support section 25 can serve to support the retaining spring 10 here on a lamp housing 1.
- the latching section 31 can be formed by an angle section 32 in the latching leg 30. This is exemplary of the Figure 1 as well as the Figure 5 can be seen clearly.
- the end portion 33 of the latching leg 30 distal with respect to the connecting leg 40 can, as Figure 1 can be seen to be angled with respect to the proximal end section 34, the two end sections 33, 34 preferably being connected by the angle section 32.
- the angular section 32 can, as shown, form a simple bend in the locking leg 30, or also a complex angled structure which can serve as a locking connection leg.
- the distal end section 33 can extend from the proximal end section 34, preferably from the angular section 32, to the holding leg 20, as is shown in particular in the cross-sectional illustration of FIG Figure 5 can be found.
- a type of undercut 35 is formed, which is used to receive a corresponding latching section 5 of a component 2 to be latched, such as a lamp cover here, for example Figure 5 can be found.
- the present invention further relates to a trough-shaped luminaire housing 1.
- This has a floor area 3 and a circumferential wall 4 extending from the floor area 3, which together delimit a receiving space A.
- the wall 4 delimits a light exit opening O circumferentially at its end facing away from the floor area 3.
- the receiving space A is used to accommodate lighting components, such as LED modules 6 with LEDs 60 for emitting light via the light exit opening O.
- the wall 4 has a circumferential step 7 extending laterally outward from the receiving space A and directed away from the bottom area 3.
- the step 7 in turn has a receiving opening 70 for the latching reception of the retaining leg 20 of a retaining spring 10 according to the present invention, so that the sealing support section 50 runs or closes essentially flush with the step 7.
- the present invention also relates to a lamp L with the above-described, trough-shaped lamp housing 1 and a retaining spring 10 according to the invention, the retaining spring 10 being received with the retaining leg 20 latching in the receiving opening 70 so that the sealing support section 50 with the step 7 runs or closes essentially flush and the locking leg 30 protrudes into the receiving space A.
- the latching leg 30 can protrude into the receiving space A with respect to the step 7 towards the bottom area 3, as is the case for example Figure 5 can be clearly seen and whereby the locking leg 30 is safely led out of the sealing space of a component 2 to be received and the locking section 31 is spaced accordingly to provide a secure sealing option with a secure locking option.
- a luminaire L is provided with a flat sealing surface, while at the same time the provision of a retaining spring 10 for latching reception of a component 2 (here a luminaire cover) is made possible without tools. In this way, both the assembly of a corresponding lamp L can be simplified and the number of parts can be reduced.
- the luminaire L can of course have the aforementioned lighting means 6 in the receiving space A, for example in the LED module 6 with LEDs 60, in order to emit light from the receiving space A via the light exit opening O from the luminaire housing 1.
- a support area of the retaining leg 20 can be in abutment with an abutment area 8 of the lamp housing 1 in order to support the retaining spring 10 with respect to the lamp housing 1.
- the support area can preferably include the support section 25 and / or the first clamping leg 21 (as for example in FIG Figure 5 shown) and / or comprise the second clamping leg 22.
- the step 7 can have a preferably circumferentially closed seal 9, which extends in a closed manner over the sealing support section 50, as is the case in particular Figure 5 can be seen.
- Any type of seal which is preferably known from the lighting sector, can be used as the seal 9.
- These can be separate elements, such as a sealing ring or a sealing strip, as well as a seal to be applied, such as a sealing foam.
- the lamp L can also have a component 2, such as a lamp cover, which is held releasably on the lamp housing 1 by means of the latching leg 30 of the retaining spring 10.
- the luminaire L preferably has a plurality of retaining springs 10 distributed (evenly) over its circumference in order to securely accommodate the component 2 or the luminaire cover 2 and preferably to center or center it with respect to the luminaire housing 1 due to the spring force of the retaining spring 10.
- the latching reception of the component 2 is achieved here by a further latching section 5 of the component 2 which corresponds to the latching section 31 and which here engages around the undercut 35 with a protruding area.
- the component 2 here the luminaire cover 2
- the component 2 can be detachably held on the luminaire housing 1 by means of the locking leg 30 such that the luminaire cover 2 with a circumferential sealing section 90 is in circumferential tight contact with the seal 9.
- the seal 9 is shown in its relaxed position, as if the lamp cover 1 had not yet been inserted.

Description
The present invention relates to a retaining spring for a luminaire housing, in particular for latching a luminaire cover on / in the luminaire housing, as well as a trough-shaped luminaire housing for receiving the retaining spring according to the invention, and finally a luminaire with a combination of the trough-shaped luminaire housing according to the invention and a retaining spring according to the invention received therein and optionally also a lamp cover held by means of the retaining spring as well as lighting means which can be accommodated in the space delimited by the lamp cover and the trough-shaped lamp housing.
It is known from the prior art to provide retaining springs on lamp housings in order to connect a lamp cover in particular to the lamp housing in a latching manner. If the luminaires are to have defined protection classes, such as IP 50 (dust protection seal), it was previously necessary to attach appropriate retaining springs to the inside of the luminaire housing using screws, which led to high parts and assembly costs. The luminaire housing was then snapped into the retaining springs screwed in this way and brought into contact with a circumferential seal of the luminaire housing in order to achieve a corresponding protection class.
It is now an object of the present invention to provide a retaining spring and a corresponding luminaire housing provided for this purpose, as well as a combination thereof, which enable simple assembly with a small number of parts; preferably also in compliance with a defined protection class.
According to a first aspect, the present invention therefore relates to a retaining spring for a lamp housing. This has a holding leg for locking reception in a lamp housing. Furthermore, the retaining spring has a latching leg with a latching section for latching reception of a component (such as a light cover, for example in the form of a translucent (e.g. transparent) cover or an optical plate, such as a diffuser disk) with a latching section corresponding to the latching section. The holding leg has a first clamping leg which is connected to the locking leg via a connecting leg, preferably essentially in a U-shape. "Essentially in a U-shape" is to be understood in the context of the invention, that the retaining leg and the first clamping leg protrude substantially in the same direction from the connecting leg or extend on one side of a plane having or tangential to the connecting leg, wherein the design of the connecting leg can be designed here as desired. At an end of the first clamping leg facing away from the connecting leg, the retaining leg merges into a second clamping leg, which protrudes on the side of the first clamping leg remote from the locking leg with a distal end up to a height of the connecting leg. The first and second clamping legs are movable between a spaced-apart rest position and an adjacent clamping position. The retaining spring furthermore has a sealing support section which extends at least in the rest position between the distal end and the connecting leg; this is preferably closed over an area and particularly preferably essentially over an area.
By means of the retaining spring according to the invention, an element which can be easily latched and has a simultaneously defined, secure sealing surface is provided so that it can also be used accordingly in housings with a defined protection class. The alignment of the respective legs makes it possible, on the one hand, to provide a latching function on the sides or within a lamp housing, while at the same time the latching function, for example to accommodate a lamp cover, does not stand in the way of a possible sealing function, since the corresponding two legs here preferably face the same direction or side protrude. A retaining spring is thus provided which can be easily snapped into a luminaire housing without additional screw connections, while at the same time a corresponding, even higher protection class (for example IP 50 and higher) can be achieved.
The sealing support section can be designed in one piece and extend from the connecting leg to and preferably up to the second clamping leg or from the second clamping leg to and preferably up to the connecting leg. In this way, a plane or closed surface can be provided as a sealing support section, so that a secure and preferably closed sealing support surface is provided.
Alternatively, the sealing support section can also be formed from several subsections, which then extend, for example, from the connecting limb and / or the second clamping limb to and preferably to the other of Connecting legs or second clamping legs extend towards. The subsections can be arranged in one another or nested with one another, at least in the clamping position, in order to form an essentially closed sealing support surface. The sealing support section can thus be distributed over several areas, which is particularly advantageous in terms of production if, for example, the retaining spring is / is produced as a stamped and bent part. Due to the nested arrangement, an essentially closed sealing support surface can also be formed, so that a particularly good sealing function is provided.
The sealing support section can extend flat in one plane, at least in the clamping position, preferably essentially transversely to an extension direction of the holding leg. In this way, a flat and flat sealing contact surface can be provided, so that a particularly secure seal can also be achieved by means of this retaining spring, as will also be described below.
The first clamping leg can have a first latching structure, which preferably protrudes from the side facing away from the second clamping leg and towards the connecting leg. Alternatively or in addition, the second clamping leg can also have a second latching structure, which preferably protrudes from the side facing away from the first clamping leg and towards the distal end. In this way, for example, in the punching and bending process for producing the retaining spring, latching structures can be provided at the same time in order to form the retaining leg in a simple manner for latching reception, for example in a lamp housing.
From the distal end of the second clamping leg, a support section of the holding leg can preferably extend as an extension of the second clamping leg. In this way, in the installed latching position of the retaining spring, the retaining leg can be securely supported on a component that latches on the retaining spring.
The latching section can be formed by an angular section in the latching leg. In this way it is possible to provide a corresponding latching section in the retaining spring by means of a simple bending process or stamping-bending process. This can be achieved, for example, by simply angling two subsections of the latching section (hereinafter also referred to as distal end section and proximal end section).
An end portion of the locking leg which is distal with respect to the connecting leg is preferably angled with respect to a proximal end portion of the locking leg, the two end portions preferably being connected by the angled portion. The angle section can have a simple angle or a complex angled connection structure, provided that the corresponding locking function of the locking leg is given. In a preferred embodiment, the distal end section can extend from the proximal end section, preferably from the angle section, towards the holding leg. In other words, the latching leg is provided arched away from the holding leg, and thus forms a corresponding undercut for the latching reception of a component, such as a lamp housing.
As already mentioned several times, the retaining spring can be formed as a stamped and bent part and in particular as a one-piece stamped and bent part. In this respect, the retaining spring can be provided in a simple manner by means of a well-known manufacturing method (for example stamping and bending process).
According to a further aspect, the present invention also relates to a trough-shaped lamp housing. This has a floor area and a circumferential wall extending from the floor area, which jointly delimit a receiving space. Hence a receiving space open here on one side, the wall preferably delimiting a light emission opening on its side facing away from the floor area, into which a light cover can be inserted, as will be described below. The wall has a circumferential step which extends outward from the receiving space and is directed away from the floor area. The step has a receiving opening for the latching reception of the retaining leg of a retaining spring according to the present invention, so that the sealing support section is essentially flush with the step. In the context of the invention, βessentially flush with the stepβ is understood to mean that the corresponding sealing support section runs in the plane spanning the step or runs flush with or ends with the step surface. Thus, a trough-shaped luminaire housing is provided which is prepared in a simple manner to provide a luminaire according to the present invention. Such a trough-shaped lamp housing can then be equipped with a retaining spring according to the invention, as is described below.
The present invention thus also relates to a lamp with the trough-shaped lamp housing according to the invention and the retaining spring according to the invention, the retaining spring being received with the retaining leg latching in the receiving opening such that the sealing support section runs essentially flush with the step and the locking leg protrudes into the receiving space .
The latching leg preferably protrudes into the receiving space with respect to the step towards the floor area. In this respect, the latching leg is provided in an area that does not collide with a seal of the lamp provided / to be provided on the step of the lamp housing and is therefore provided at a location that is usual for corresponding lamps, but without using additional fasteners, such as screws, since the Stage of the trough-shaped lamp housing is also used to accommodate the retaining spring.
The step can have a preferably circumferentially closed seal which extends in a closed manner (ie at least in the direction of extent or circumferential direction of the seal or the step) over the sealing support section. This seal can be a separately manageable sealing element, such as a sealing ring or a sealing strip. However, it is also conceivable that this seal is a sealing element to be applied, such as, for example, a sealing foam.
A support area of the retaining leg can be in abutment with an abutment area of the lamp housing in order to support the retaining spring with respect to the lamp housing. The support area can preferably include the support section and / or the first clamping leg and / or the second clamping leg. In this way, the retaining spring can be securely supported in the installed state in order to thus offer a stable latching receptacle for a component to be latched by means of the latching leg.
The lamp can also have a component, such as a lamp cover, which is held releasably on the lamp housing by means of the locking leg, preferably in such a way that it is in circumferential sealing contact with the seal with a circumferential sealing section. If no seal is provided or necessary, the lamp cover can also be held on the lamp housing by means of the retaining spring without an additional seal.
LEDs bzw. LED-Module mit LEDs), entsprechende BetriebsgerΓ€te bzw. Treiber, Optiken und dergleichen.Of course, the luminaire can have other luminaire components, such as light sources (e.g. LEDs or LED modules with LEDs), corresponding operating devices or drivers, optics and the like.
