Abstract

1,158,659. Door seals. HILLS INDUSTRIES Ltd. 12 Dec., 1967 [12 Dec., 1966]. No. 56522/67. Heading E1J. A bottom door seal comprises a door engaging extruded aluminium member 18 having a resilient thermoplastic sealing strip 13 retained in a groove 19 therein, the strip 13 having a recess 31 in its lower face, which in the closed position of the door, engages over an upstanding portion 28 of a floor engaging member 14 with the recess 31 positioned over the portion 28, to form preferably a double line seal. The base of the member 14 has a groove 26 containing mastic sealing 27.
