1,223,245. Milling. GOTAVERKEN AB. 14 Oct., 1969 [4 Nov., 1968], No. 50412/69. Heading B3K. A machine tool for making serrations in juxtaposed parts of the connection surfaces of bearing components 11, comprises a support 10, a tool head comprising a bevel gear-box 12 shaped to fit into the recess defined by the bearing surface 15, two laterally extending milling cutters having a serrating cutting profile, means for relatively displacing the tool head and support in the longitudinal direction and means for relatively displacing them transversely by one half of the pitch of the pitch of the serrations when a first half of a bearing has been machined and the matching half is to be machined.
