Abstract

1,222,771. Air humidifier. ARTHUR MAAG & CO. A.G. 24 April, 1969 [24 April, 1968; 18 Nov., 1968], No. 21025/69. Heading B1R. An air humidifier of the type wherein water is evaporated from a storage tank by an electrical heating element has the heating element 13 disposed within an evaporation chamber 9 with a water inlet 14 and a steam outlet 15 and connected to a float chamber 8, both chambers being fixed to a pivotally-mounted arm 4 to float in the water in the tank 1. The evaporation chamber may be double-walled to insulate the heated water therein from the cold water in the tank. The cable to the heating element may pass through the arm 4.
