Abstract
122,247. Boon Tractors, Ltd., and Boon, J. D. Jan. 17, 1918. Tractors with internal-combustion, engines.-A tractor of the two-wheel type has the forward part of the engine 5 mounted upon the tractor frame 4 and the rear part mounted upon the casing 8 of the differential shaft 9, whereby the distance between the axes of the crank-shaft 11 and of the differential shaft bearing and the distance between the axes of the speed-pinion shaft 12 and of the differential shaft are the same. The engine and the differential casing constitute one unit upon the tractor frame 4. The axis of the crank-shaft 11 is in alinement with the axis of the speed-pinion shaft 12, and the axis of the differential shaft 9 with the axis of the bearing of the extensions 6<a> of the framing upon the differential casing.
