Abstract

1,222,092. Sound insulating glass panels. INGEMANSSONS INGENJORSBYRA A.B. 9 Feb., 1968 [9 Feb., 1967], No. 6436/68. Heading C1M. A sound insulating glass panel comprises two or more sandwiched glass plates, the plates having a thickness not exceeding 6 mm. and being interconnected at their edges by elastic connecting means to ensure a free air gap of not more than 0À5 mm. between each pair of adjacent plates. A suitable material for use as the connecting means is a polysulphide-base or a polyurethane-base synthetic rubber, and is applied to the rims of adjacent glass plates.
