Abstract
1,221,547. Face protector. E. C. McBRIDE. 125 April, 1969 [9 July, 1968], No. 32723/68. Heading A5R. A hair holder comprises a generally oval flexible strip having adjacent end portions 13, a lower edge portion 11 and an outwardly belted portion 17 for receiving and holding the hair. The hair holder may be formed in one piece of resilient material or alternatively comprise two parts connected by a spring hinge (13', Fig. 7). The hair holder may include a flexible sealing portion, such as a strip of felt or sponge secured around the lower edge portion. Furthermore the hair holder may have serrated comb teeth (20, Fig. 8) secured to and extending upwardly and inwardly from the lower edge portion 11. The hair holder may include a flexible strap (23, Fig. 7) secured to one of the end portions 13 capable of being detachably secured to the other of the end portions 13.
