Abstract

1,221,011. 011. Radial piston pumps. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. Jan.15, 1968 [Oct.18, 1966], No.2037/68. Divided out of 1, 220, 216. Heading F1A. The track ring 17 is movable against the bias of a spring 20 to reduce its eccentricity relative to the rotor 13 by the resultant of the piston forces acting thereon. The ring is guided for movement by parallel flat surfaces 26 and 27 inclined at an acute angle to the direction of action of the spring 20. Liquid is discharged from the bores 14 to an outlet 23 through a kidney-shaped port 25 in a part 24 between the rotor 13 and the end cover 11.
