Gum and like receptacles. - A cylindrical, square, or other pocket receptacle for holding sugar, seeds, liquids, &c. has a lid or stopper b formed with a scoopshaped extension c so arranged that the lid may be used for removing part of the contents. The lid may have a plain neck b<1> or may be screwed into the mouth of the receptacle. The lid may be provided with a mark d to indicate when it is in the correct position for withdrawal. The receptacle may be bottle-shaped and may be made of metal, wood, ivory, cardboard, &c.
