Abstract

1,215,406. Hollow disc filters ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK. 28 May, 1968 [29 May, 1967], No. 25393/68. Heading BID. In a coaxial assembly of hollow disc filters (the interior S of one hollow disc being shown in cross-section in Fig. 3), each hollow disc is defined by a pair of filter disc elements 2, supported by internal discs 4 whose outer peripheries are clamped together by an annular sealing element 1; a pair of resilient spacer discs 3 clamps the outer peripheries of the filter disc elements 2 against and into depressions (defined by pairs of ridges 5) in the sealing element 1. As described, the disc assembly is supported at its inner periphery on a filtrate collecting tube (11, Fig. 1, not shown). The filter disc elements 2 consist of, e.g. paper, textile fibres, or metal.
