Abstract

919,385. Lead filters. AUTOBIZDY JABLONEC, NARODNI PODNIK. Jan. 2, 1961 [Jan. 27, 1960], No. 120/61. Class 46. Two annuli 1, Fig. 4, of filtering material, each having integral spacing ribs 11 are in contact at their outer edges and are there recessed into an annular frame of plastic 2; at their inner edges each is recessed into an annular frame of plastic 3 or 3a. Frames 3 and 3a have axial spacer projections 31 and 31a, respectively, which are relatively staggered, Fig. 5, to leave gaps 51 connecting the filtrate space 50 to the collecting space 52. Lugs 32 form guides on a collecting tube (not shown) common to a stack of such elements. In Fig. 2 (not shown), each frame 3, 3a has tangential arms extending outwardly into the filtrate space 50 so that the integral spacing ribs 11 may be dispensed with.
