Abstract

1286875 Liquid filter CHEMAP AG 11 Sept 1969 [11 Sept 1968] 44984/69 Heading BID The inner edge of annular filter cloth 9 of a disc filter is held between sealing rings 12. The disc also comprises annular filter disc 5 made of coarse supporting cloth and perforated sheet 6. Filtered liquid passes via ports 3 to a central drain pipe. The disc filter may be vertical or horizontal, may be rotary and may be abraded by solid particles passing over the filter cloths under the influence of centrifugal force.
