Abstract

1,214,826. Feeding webs. BELOIT EASTERN CORP. 7 Dec., 1967 [24 Jan., 1967], No. 55662/67. Heading B8R. In order to eliminate a boundary layer of air between a roller and a web, the surface of the roller is provided with a plurality of circumferential grooves 51, as described in Specification 1,176,512. Various ranges of dimensions are described and claimed, which differ from those of the earlier Specification. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,176,512.
