Pocket and like knives; handles, pivoted-blade type.-The blades or other implements of clasp knives are held in any position by the grip of the handle on both sides of the blade ends. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the handle is of S-section and is so formed as to grip the ends g of blades c, b at one end of the knife and the end of a tin-opener t at the other end. The handle may be of the form shown in Fig. 6, and carry one blade only, or may be bent as shown in Fig. 7 for carrying several implements. An additional spring clip m, Fig. 9, may surround the end g. Adjustment for wear may be made by tightening a nut on a screwed extension of the blade pivot d.
