Handles, pivoted-blade type.-The handle 12 of a pocket-knife &c. is formed from a sheet of metal &c. bent into U-ceetion, and the integral spring 15 is formed by cutting a longitudinal slot 16 through the legs of the U-section handle so that the spring itself is of U-section. Preferably the legs of the spring are pressed together at their free ends so as to form a fat surface 17 against which bear the operative surfaces at the butt end of the blade &c. The handle may be formed with a double or triple fold so that two or three blades &c. may be accommedated.
