Couplings, disconnectible.-In a stand and union for two or more gas cylinders, the operation of a handle moves a cam-member which clamps the union to the valved mouths of the cylinders, these being simultaneously secured to the stand. The union plate has projections 6, adapted to engage the mouths 13 of the valved extensions 2 of the cylinders, and is connected by a link 7 to a yoke 8 which lies over the necks 3 of the cylinders and has a central hole through which the link passes. The screwed end of the link 7 passes through a hole in the union plate and receives a nut 10 for adjusting the length of the link. A handle 11 with shoulders or cam-surfaces 12 is pivoted to the other end of the link. so that, when it is depressed, the cam-surfaces act on the yoke 8 and clamp the union on to the mouths 13; at the same time, a spring claw 14 on the handle engages the stand 1, which has a pair of holes receiving the pins on the undersides of the extensions 2, and clamps the cylinders to the stand.
