A cutting torch includes a head portion B and tip assembly C which comprises a shell 30, a coaxial tip insert 32 and a distribution member 34 received in an opening in the body 10 and provided with a spring ring 37 in a circumferential groove to retain it in the opening, the member 34 having an opening 64 to receive the end of insert 32 and a silicone rubber sealing ring 63 forming a seal between the parts.
