Abstract

1,155,055. Valves. A. H. ANDERSON & CO. A.B. 16 Sept., 1966, No. 41407/66. Heading F2V. The stem 16 of a screwed non-rising stem type valve has an integral collar 23 located against a shoulder 22 on a bonnet 19 by a retaining ring 25. This ring is inserted from inside the bonnet and has a depending tapered flange as shown expanded into a continuous groove 24 in the bonnet by a chamfered sleeve mandrel (28), Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown).
