Abstract

1,204,370. Sealing strips. CRANE FRUEHAUF TRAILERS Ltd. 14 Nov., 1967 [9 Jan., 1967], No. 51740/67. Heading E1J. An elastomeric sealing strip comprises a web 27 fitted into a channel section strip 24 welded to one wall of a channel shaped door jamb 23 of a trailer and projecting flanges 28, 32, and 33 which engage the inner surface 34 of the door, the edge 21 of the door and the jamb respectively to seal the door in the closed position. The door is pivoted to a bracket 17 by an angle section member. The flange 33 may be omitted, the flange 32 then projecting beyond the outer surface of the door and having a bead engaging the jamb.
