733,688. Draught excluders. GLASS SEALER CO., Ltd. April 27, 1953 [April 26, 1952], No. 10565/52. Class 20 (3). A weather sealing strip for a ventilating window panel 10 of a vehicle which is centrally pivoted on a pair of vertical pivots comprises a base 20 mounted in an outwardly directed channel in the frame 11 of the panel 10 and having an outwardly projecting head 21 of triangular cross-section with concave side faces 23 which is joined to the base by a thin neck 22 so that the head can flex to either side of its normal central position and make a seal from either side with a rib 26 on the fixed frame 14 of the window opening. The apex of the head 21 is in the central plane of the member when the window panel is open. On closing the window one of the concave surfaces 23 of the head 21, engages the rib 26 which has the same radius of curvature as surfaces 23, and rocks over until the corner remote from the rib-engaging face contacts the base 20, the head 21 being rocked in opposite directions on the two sides of the panel pivots. The base 20 may have lips 25 fitting over the outside of the frame channel.
