Abstract

A resilient rubber or synthetic plastics draught excluder strip 1 which may be extruded has a profile bounded by two flat sides including an obtuse angle up to 110 degrees and a concave side to be fitted e.g. by adhesive with one flat side to the door or window frame 2 and to contact with the other flat side the door or window panel 3 so that the obtuse angle is deformed to a right angle the concave side being so shaped as to produce the contact pressure required for sealing. The contacting side of the strip may have a layer of felt or plush thereon.
