Abstract

1,202,459. Potato harvester. A. UNDERHAUG [trading as F. A. UNDERHAUGSFABRIK]. 29 Nov., 1968 [25 Jan., 1968], No. 56795/68. Heading A1F. A tractor mounted potato harvester comprises a share 1 and a digging wheel 2 mounted to one side of the tractor wheel 12, a rotating member 3 co-operating with the digging wheel to receive the harvester material, a deflector means 4 co-operating with the rotating member 3, an elevator belt 5, an elevator and cleaning belt 6, a sorting belt 7, a belt 15 or 17 to transfer the harvest for collection and deflector means 8 and 9 for belt to belt transfer and cleaning. The deflector means 8 and 9 may comprise an oblique shield or a conveyer, Fig. 3 (not shown), rotating in the opposite sense to the adjacent belt or a vine roll and carrier roll, Fig. 4 (not shown), rotating in mutually opposite senses. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,160,579.
