Abstract

1,201,981. Electro-photographic developing apparatus. AGFA-GEVAERT A.G. June 14, 1968 [June 16, 1967], No.28565/68. Heading G2H. An electro-photographic developing apparatus includes a reservoir 2 for powder developer and a rotary distributing member 4 having a hollow open ended body extending into the reservoir. On rotation of the member 4, by a motor 6, powder developer is caused, by centrifugal force, to flow upwards and be thrown outwards through an opening 7c adjacent a cylinder 1 carrying a latent electrostatic image. A channel 7 is vibrated, by vibrators 8, to throw powder in the direction of arrow A.
