Abstract

1,201,208. Feeding sheets. OMAL GROUP Ltd. 16 Aug., 1968 [14 Sept., 1967], No. 42052/67. Heading B8R. A stack of sheets S is supported in a cardboard magazine 24 balanced on a fulcrum member 29 having projections 31 fitting in slots 30 in the bottom wall 22 of the magazine so that the weight of the stack urges the front end thereof upwardly against D-section feed rollers 32 on a shaft 34, the rollers engaging the top sheet and feeding it downwardly at an acute angle over the face E of the stack so as to urge the rear end of the sheet upwardly from the next sheet. The sheet is then fed in an arcuate path between guides 40a, 44 to feed rollers 36, 38 and thence to the changing device of an electrostatic copying machine.
