1,200,037. Feeding sheets. ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK. 20 Aug., 1968 [21 Aug., 1967], No. 39778/68. Heading B8R. Drive means for sheet separator mechanism comprises a cam-shaft 1, Fig. 1, parallel to the direction of feed and carrying (a) a drum cam 5 for controlling the movement of separator suction cups 13, Figs. 1 and 2, along a path 60, (b) a disc cam 6 for controlling the movement along a path 61 of an element 22 for periodically depressing the stack 59, (c) a cam 7 for controlling through a valve 29 the application of suction to the cups, and (d) a cam 28 for controlling the application of air under pressure to blowing nozzles 58 for riffling the upper part of the stack and to the element 22 for blowing air under the sheet which is being held by the cups. The degree of suction, of air pressure, and of air to the blowers, is controlled by regulators 47, 48, 49.
