1,199,484. Hot water boilers. COCHRAN & CO., ANNAN, Ltd. 10 Jan., 1969 [13 Oct., 1967], No. 46857/67. Heading F4A. [Also in Division F1] A jet pump for circulating water in a boiler comprises a nozzle 11 and locating assembly 13, 14 engaging a pipe 16 connecting upper and lower parts of the boiler water chamber, cool water returning from a circulation system being directed through nozzle 11 to residue flow of the boiler water between flanges 13 into pipe 16. The locating assembly shown comprises flanges 13 connecting nozzle 11 to a pipe portion 14 having a recess 15 receiving pipe 16. In Fig. 1 (not shown), pipe portion 14 is omitted, and the flanges support the nozzle directly on the end of pipe 16.
