Abstract

1,197,993. Photographic diazotype gasdeveloping apparatus. ADDRESSOGRAPHMULTIGRAPH CORP. Aug. 31, 1967 [Sept. 6, 1966], No.39928/67. Heading G2A. Developing apparatus for gas-developing a diazotype copy sheet comprises a development chamber 18a containing a rotating drum 16 and rollers 34 and 36. The copy sheet S entering at 12, being carried round the periphery of the drum between the drum and rollers and exiting at 14. While the apparatus is in operation, development gas e.g. ammonia is continuously cycled between a gas generator (not shown) and the chamber seals 67 and 69 preventing escape of the gas.
