Abstract

1,194,552. Ventilating buildings. ANVIL ENTERPRISES Ltd. 5 Jan., 1968 [28 Jan., 1967], No. 4317/67. Heading F4V. A ventilation system for a livestock house comprises a duct 6 extending the length of the house with an air inlet at each end and having side walls 7 provided with louvres to direct the air as it leaves the duct. The louvres may be fixed to direct air upwardly or may be adjustable individually or collectively. Air is extracted from the house by fans 17 through slots 15 in both sidewalls. The base of the duct 6 includes longitudinal slots to direct air downwardly into the central region of the house.
