Abstract

1,192,657. Agitators. JAEGER MACHINE CO. 8 April, 1968 [3 Jan., 1968], No. 16802/68. Heading B1C. [Also in Division Fl] A beater 41 in the feed hopper 18 of a concrete pump or pumps is driven by a liquidpressure motor MF5 under the control of a spool valve V10 monitoring flow from a supply pump (not shown). Movement of the valve V10 from a central shut-off position to which it is spring-urged passes fluid to drive the motor MF5 in one or other direction. The valve V10 is itself controlled by a solenoidactuated pilot spool valve V9 actuated by a manual switch. In the central position of the valve V10 the fluid recirculates to the supply pump. The hydraulic circuitry is part of the concrete pump control system (see Division F1).
