Abstract

1,178,339. Forging presses. MASCHINENFABRIK HASENCLEVER A.G. 14 Feb., 1968 [28 March, 1967], No. 7161/68. Heading B3H. A forging press has its slide 3 driven by an eccentric shaft 4, 5 journalled in eccentric bushes 9 which are rotatable for varying the stroke position of the slide, the shaft portion 5 being surrounded by an eccentric ring 6 having a pressure transfer pivot 7 engaging in a corresponding surface 8 in the slide 3. The bushes have gear teeth 15 meshing with pinions 14 on a shaft 13 with a handle 16. The centre of curvature of the pivot 7 lies within the eccentric 5, as described in Specification 1,165,292.
