Abstract

1,178,112. Disinfectant dispenser. K. M. CROSS. 25 Jan., 1967 [25 Oct., 1965], No. 45165/65. Heading A5G. A disinfectant dispenser for use with W.C. cisterns &c. comprises a container, sealed by a lid and containing a solid or liquid disinfectant, with a U-tube 4 in the lid having arms 5 and 6 of unequal length projecting outwardly through the lid and having at least one fluid supply port 9A in that part of the U-tube within the container. Preferably the ends of the U-tube are cut at an angle and the longer arm may be provided with a slidable extension 18 (Fig. 3A, not shown) for altering the effective length of the arm and hence varying the dosage of disinfectant dispensed.
