1,178,030. Floor cleaning machines. W. B. PRICE. 21 Sept., 1967, No. 43054/67. Heading A4F. In a floor cleaning machine comprising a horizontal cylindrical brush 11, driven by an electric motor 12, a detachable disposable collector member 21, preferably of absorbent material, is mounted above and about the brush 11 to receive and retain liquid removed from the floor by the brush 11 and thrown from the latter by centrifrugal action. A spray nozzle 35 (Fig. 1, not shown) is mounted in front of the brush and collector assembly for supplying cleaning liquid to the floor from a reservoir on the handle of the machine.
