Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores.-A rubber tyre 8 is formed with recesses 9 within which are arranged blocks 10 of less yielding rubber positioned on the rim by pins 7. The free air-space provided around each bloch communicates with the atmosphere through vents 12 for cooling the tyre in running.
