Abstract

117,466. Brook, I. Feb. 7, 1917 Tread bands.-Relates to tread bands of the kind described in Specification 8454/11 and comprising a series of metal shoes linked together and arranged in the groove between a pair of twin or other multiple tyres. The shoes are now formed with flat treads 5 bearing on the tyres 2, 3, and with webs 8 which, together with the connecting- links 9, are adapted to be clear of the sides and bottom of the groove 4 between the tyres.
