Tread bands.-A tread band for twin tyres comprises shoes 1 having transverse ribs 3, 4 and oblique ribs 5 forming deep depressions 2, and end gaps 13, the shoes being also formed with lugs 9 to receive the connecting- links 11. Ribs 6 on the shoes are adapted to enter the groove 7 between the tyre treads.
